Duke surges ahead of Gladman in Coaches Votes | Round 7 - 11 BFNL Netball Geelong Advertiser Coaches Votes

Newcomb defender Jessica Duke has stormed ahead in the Geelong Advertiser Coaches Votes after Round 11. Duke received the full 6 votes in their win over Portarlington last weekend, putting her 2 votes ahead of Queenscliff's star shooter Kaitlin Gladman who has polled in all but 1 game this year.

Zdybel takes a narrow lead | Round 9 GFNL Football Geelong Advertiser Coaches Votes

St Joseph's young gun Hunter Lewis, Geelong West Giants star Hunter Lewis and Newtown & Chilwell Forward, Flynn Young all received the maximum votes from the coaches in round 9. 

Young kicked 7 goals against North Shore back in early April which falls as part of the Round 9 votes. 

Colac tall Zachary Zdybel takes a narrow 1 vote lead over Harry Benson, after a 5-vote game last weekend against Benson's St Mary's.

My First Club: Under 9 Football and 11 & Under Netball Team Photos

The Geelong Addy has presented an opportunity for a special keepsake that celebrates long-lasting first memories of playing sport in the community.

They have photographed Under 9 Football and 11 & Under Netball teams in this season's AFL Barwon junior competitions.

The Addy has visited dozens of footy and netball clubs across the greater Geelong region to collate photos of hundreds of junior players from more than 30 teams.

Driving Change | Community Forum

The Geelong Cats are excited to announce the 2024 AFLW Community Camp in Colac.

The Community Camp will run on Wednesday 19 June and will involve a range of programs and activities including school visits, an all-girls community clinic and the Driving Change community forum. 

We would like to extend an invitation for to you to attend the Driving Change forum.

Driving Change - A Community Forum will focus on the introduction of the AFLW Program and the impact on the environment at the Geelong Cats. Rosie King OAM, and members of our AFLW Program will present their perspective on driving organisational change.

The forum will take place between 5:15pm and 6:30pm at Central Reserve, Colac on Wednesday 19 June.
