Summer Netball Heat Process

The temperature is forecast to exceed 28°C for part of this evening across some of the summer competition venues.

Each venue will apply the Heat Policy at its discretion.

At the commencement of each time slot, the temperature will be measured using Weatherzone. If the temperature is above 28°C, the following measures will be implemented:

• 7-minute quarters
• 3-minute breaks at quarter time and three-quarter time
• 5-minute half-time break

If the temperature is 28°C or below at the start of a time slot, the Heat Policy will not be applied for that time slot.

Given the geographic spread of our competition, these measures are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants.
