It is an exciting time at AFL Barwon as we focus on the renewal of our Commission, with the recruitment of two new directors to fill casual vacancies. We are seeking volunteer directors to contribute to the governance and oversight of football and netball in the Barwon region.

About the Position
The Commission provides strategic oversight of AFL Barwon’s operations, ensuring the continued growth, integrity, and sustainability of football and netball in the region. As a casual director, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of the organisation and supporting our purpose.
We are seeking individuals with:
- Legal expertise with a strong understanding of governance frameworks and willing to act as Company Secretary.
- People & Culture / Human Resources experience, including strategic workforce management, culture development, or organisational performance
This is a voluntary role offering the opportunity to work alongside a committed team, contribute to meaningful decisions impacting hundreds of clubs, players, and volunteers, and strengthen community sport in the Barwon region.
