Reports & Tribunal Statement – Week 8

AFL Barwon wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed the requests and reports from matches played on the weekend and the following charges were laid.

Charges Laid:

 

Kadison McEwan Walsh, Geelong West Giants FNC, has been reported for rough conduct on Harrison Bennett, Lara FNC in the first quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday May 27th.

In summary, the player was offered a one-match sanction which was not accepted. The case will be heard at the AFL Barwon Tribunal at 8.45pm tonight.

 

John Hambrook, Winchelsea FNC, has been reported for abusive language towards an umpire in the third quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday May 27th.

In summary, the player was offered a one-match sanction which was not accepted. The case will be heard at the AFL Barwon Tribunal at 7.30pm tonight.

 

Elia Tzagarakis, Werribee Centrals FNC,  has been reported for headbutting Connor Jervies, Bannockburn FNC in the third quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday May 27th.

In summary, the Match Review Panel has referred this case directly to the AFL Barwon Regional Tribunal. The case will be heard tonight at 8.00pm.

 

Wil Sault, Newcomb FNC,  has been reported for striking Will Rixon, Geelong Amateur FNC in the fourth quarter of the Under 14 game played on Sunday May 28th.

In summary, this case will be heard at the AFL Barwon Tribunal tonight at 7.00pm.

 

Other incidents assessed:

The match day report of Regan Grimwood, Queenscliff FNC,  who was reported for striking Mark Davis, Portarlington FNC in the first quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday May 27th was withdrawn. The Match Review Panel deemed that there was no charge to be laid.

The match day report of Andrew Fay, Belmont Lions FNC,  who was reported for striking Jackson Smith, Winchelsea FNC in the third quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday May 27th was withdrawn. The Match Review Panel deemed that there was no charge to be laid.
