Reports & Tribunal Statement – Week 2

AFL Barwon wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed the requests and reports from matches played on the weekend and the following charges were laid.

Charges Laid:

Michael Gregorio, Thomson FNC, has been reported for carelessly striking William Hammer, Inverleigh FNC in the third quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday April 8th.

In summary, the player was offered a one-match sanction which has been accepted.

 

Zac Smith, Newcomb FNC,  has been reported for engaging in rough conduct against Jonathon Casey, Queenscliff FNC in the second quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday April 8th.

In summary, the player was offered a one-match sanction which has not been accepted. This case will be heard at the AFL Barwon Regional tribunal tonight at 6.30pm.

 

Ashley Bogan, Belmont FNC, has been reported for striking Timothy Lewis, Anakie FNC in the third quarter of the Reserves game played on Saturday April 8th.

In summary, the player was offered a one-match sanction which has been accepted.

 

Thomas Schwennesen, North Geelong FNC, has been reported for kneeing Kyle Rollo, Bannockburn FNC in the second quarter of the Colts game played on Saturday April 8th.

In summary, the player has been suspended for two matches.

 

Jackson Rae, Corio FNC, has been reported for abusing an umpire in the second quarter of the Colts game played on Saturday April 8th.

In summary, the player has been suspended for two matches.
