Reports & Tribunal Statement – Week 11

AFL Barwon wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed the requests and reports from matches played on the weekend and the following charges were laid.

Charges Laid:

 

George Steven, Colac FNC has been reported for intentionally striking Benjamin McNamara, St Joseph’s FNC in the fourth quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday June 17th.

In summary, the player was offered a one-match sanction which has been accepted.

 

Brent Jacques, Bannockburn FNC has been reported for intentionally striking in the first quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday June 17th.

In summary, the player was offered a one-match sanction which has been accepted.

 

Michael Gerrard, Anakie FNC has been reported for abuse in the third quarter of the Senior game played on Saturday June 17th.

In summary, the coach was offered a one-match sanction which has been accepted.

 

Lachlan McVilly, Ocean Grove FNC has been reported for intentionally striking in the fourth quarter of the Reserve game played on Saturday June 17th.

In summary, the player was offered a two-match sanction which has been accepted.

 

Fraser Toohey, Geelong West Giants FNC has been reported for abusive language towards an umpire at the conclusion of the Colts game played on Saturday June 17th.

In summary, the player was sent to the tribunal last night and received a two-match sanction.

 

Bradley Haines, Belmont Lions FNC has been reported for abusive language towards an umpire in the fourth quarter of the Colts game played on Saturday June 17th.
