Torquay Football Club has received a major coup with the recruitment of current Geelong Football League Senior Interleague Coach Jeremy Dyer.
In addition to ensuring the GFL holds onto its number 1 ranking when they take on MPNFL on May 13th, Dyer will take control of the Tigers Under 16 boys. The arrangement came about through Jeremy’s connection with senior coach Dom Gleeson and the club’s Sponsorship Manager Cam Healy.
Keiran O’Dwyer Torquay’s Director of Football said “we are excited to have a coach of Jeremy’s calibre engaged with our junior program. We think investing in our juniors with experienced coaches is so important for the future of our club. It is another way our seniors and juniors are working together and ensures our juniors are getting the best program possible down on the Surfcoast”
The Surfcoast club has a rich history of developing quality juniors players, with recent junior best and fairest winners Noah Gadsby and Mitchell Chafer developing through the Tigers junior program.
