Bellarine FNL Netball too Good

Bellarine FNL senior netball team took home the Netball cup on Saturday with a strong win over Heathcote & District FNL. The first quarter was set up for BFNL with 17 to 6 goals in the first quarter. The girls had a slight lapse in the second losing the quarter by a goal but came out in the remaining two quarters and controlled the play. The defensive end of Keisha Guilmartin and Kelsey Ollis was too strong for their Heathcote & District opponents providing plenty of intercepts and turnovers. Jess Crow dominated in the ring with an impressive 31 goals for the match.

Keisha Guilmartin from Geelong Amateur was named best on court for her impressive defensive pressure in the ring.

The Bellarine FNL team will now go on to the Association Championships on June 26th at the State Netball Hockey centre, to play for the Association Championships Open title
