2017 Trainers development evenings

Corio Bay Sports Medicine Centre are hosting two trainers development evenings in May.

Held at 283 Latrobe Terrace Geelong at 7:15 for a 7:30 start (Sharp).  Evenings will be 60 – 80 mins.  Light refreshments, all equipment provided. Strict RSVP to for numbers

Wednesday May 10th

Current thinking and rehab ideas for hamstring strains

The night will focus on the latest research findings looking at why hamstrings tend to recur and which exercises and running program ideas seem to work best.  This will include the brand new NordBord hamstring testing machine.

Wednesday June 14th

Massage and Taping techniques

Emily Brown    (Geelong Falcons Physiotherapist)

Sam Rice            (Footscray VFL Trainer & Geelong SuperCats Physiotherapist)

This evening will look at various methods of massage, highlighting pre and post game and other specific techniques / indications.

It will also be used to cover various taping techniques useful for shoulder, ankle and knee.


We look forward to providing valuable, usable information and techniques to assist local trainers looking after their players.
