Tigers seeking Senior Football Coach

Grovedale Tigers Football Netball Club is seeking the services of a Senior Football Coach.

A founding member of the Geelong Football League (no 1 ranked competition in the state) we are a community club that works hard to develop strong relationships between our coaches, players, supporters and volunteers.

We actively aspire to develop and encourage our players to play at the highest standard possible, with recent Grovedale players selected at AFL, VFL and GFL interleague level. The senior team has made finals in 3 of the past 5 seasons, our reserves team has played off in the previous 2 grand finals and our Division 1 Colts team is a regular finals contender.  With close to 300 players in our very successful junior program, there is no lack of ongoing talent coming through the ranks.

The successful applicant will be required to lead and manage the development and implementation of the clubs football strategy.  This will include:

  • Developing the Club’s Football & Coaching Strategy.
  • Overall Coaching of Players & Coaching Staff and effective game plan implementation.
  • Relationship management across a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Developing a culture of success with shared values.
  • Promoting the Club and its Brand.

The Senior Coach will be involved in the recruitment of new players and support staff and player retention as well as holding suitable coaching accreditations.
