Netball Australia has announced a partnership with fitness organistation NETFIT to deliver live and free netball programs all around Australia.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, gatherings of large groups are outlawed under social distancing regulations, so NETFIT have come to the party until the end of April. The collaboration will see the netball community get free access to live online work-outs delivered by elite netballers, as well as health, fitness, nutrition and wellbeing sessions.
Netball Australia CEO Marne Fechner said netball is excited to partner with NETFIT to bring netball activity to the Australian community in unprecedented circumstances.
“As we see more netball competitions postpone activity due to COVID-19, it’s important we take a proactive approach to keeping our netball communities around Australia active and engaged with the sport,” she said.
NETFIT Netball CEO and Founder Sarah Wall said they wanted to create a solution for the community to remain safe, healthy, active and still feel connected during this time.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with a world leading organisation like Netball Australia who have placed a priority on the physical and mental health and wellbeing of their participants and have joined us in helping our community remain active and maintain their mental health and wellbeing during this time.”
The free NETFIT activity will be available online from Monday 23 March for six weeks. For more information and to sign up, CLICK HERE.
