Kelly is A Grade’s best

Simpson captain Kelly Pouw is the 2016 A Grade best and fairest winner, announced at the vote count on Monday night. Kelly polled 27 votes to win by two votes from Birregurra’s Sarah Breed.

Kelly, a centre court player, will be hoping to cap off a memorable year when she plays in today’s A Grade grand final.

Other winners announced on Monday were:

B Grade:

Best and fairest: Richelle Seuren (Colac Imperials)

Runner-up: Taylah Schram (Apollo Bay)

C Grade:

Best and fairest: Laura Parker (South Colac)

Runners-up: Jessi Kerr (Colac Imperials), Amanda Fisk (Otway Districts) and Kaylene Jones (Simpson)

17 & Under:

Best and fairest: Tara Morrissy (Colac Imperials)

Runner-up: Lily Eldridge (Alvie)

15 & Under:

Best and fairest: Lily Eldridge (Alvie)

Runner-up: Brooke Hawkins (Otway Districts)

13 & Under:

Best and fairest: Ebony Miraglia (Alvie)

Runner-up: Holly Duynhoven (Simpson)

19 & Under Emma McVilly Memorial: Dallas Williamson (Alvie)
